NOUR EL KHIER - HELPING THOSE MOST IN NEED IN TRIPOLI, LEBANON
In 2020, Yasmeen’s Foundation was introduced to a small, but highly effective charity working on the ground in Tripoli, Lebanon. Nour El Khier, through its dedicated founding members and board of directors, has helped hundreds of families in poverty stricken Tripoli navigate the dreadful living conditions arising from years of war, corruption and neglect. Yasmeen’s Foundation is proud to be working hand-in-hand with Nour El Khier to provide basic food supplies, educational funding, medical supplies and funding for critical medical procedures to those most in need.
Since 2020, Yasmeen’s Foundation has been providing monthly food baskets to some of Tripoli’s most needy families.
In September 2023, Yasmeen’s Foundation coordinated it’s first clothing drive to support families in need in Lebanon. Thank you to everyone who helped donate to this worthy cause. Thanks to your generosity, we collected 14 large boxes filled with clothes, shoes and winter jackets.
Yasmeen’s Foundation recently funded the supply of two lithium-ion batteries to help power a much needed water well 24-hrs/day.
